Where the name came from
Aztec and Mayan-themed shock shots travelled the same route as the Brain Haemorrhage and the IED. The Mayan Sacrifice leans into the dark colour from the coffee liqueur and the high proof from the 151. The name does the rest.
It is a four-spirit shot poured into a single glass. No layering, no stir, no shake.
What it tastes like
Coffee on the lead, agave behind it, vodka warmth in the middle, 151 burn at the back. Dark, sweet and aggressive in equal measure.
Cold ingredients are essential. Frozen and the burn falls back. Warm and the rum overpowers everything.
