Where the name came from

Pub joke names. Jager and lemon-lime soda go under multiple names. Black Nazi, Jager Lemonade, Liquid Marijuana, depending on the bar and the era. Use your judgment on whether to call it that out loud.

It is a Jagerbomb cousin without the Red Bull. Same base spirit, different mixer, less caffeine.

What it tastes like

Bitter herbal Jager on the lead, sweet lemon-lime on the back, fizzy throughout. The 56 herbs in Jager give the drink complexity that a vodka soda cannot match.

Cold Jager and cold soda are essential. Warm Jager is brutal in any drink.

Drop a shot of Jager into a glass of Red Bull. Now it is a Jagerbomb.

Want it long?

Build in a pint glass with maximum ice.
