The Drink Lab way
Every cocktail on Drink Lab gets the same treatment. Real measures. Real technique. One line of voice so the recipe doesn’t read like a maths textbook. A hero photo when we’ve gotten round to shooting it, a hand-drawn placeholder when we haven’t. A nutrition estimate we actually calculated, not copy-pasted from another website that copy-pasted it from a third website that made it up in 2014.
If a cocktail has a story worth telling (the Sidecar’s birth in a Paris bar, the Margarita’s contested origin, the Espresso Martini’s specific 1983 Soho moment) we tell it. If a cocktail is called Slippery Nipple, we pour it, photograph it, and leave the nose-out-of-it academic reverence to somebody else.
