Mexican Candy Shot

The Mexican Candy shot recipe, is a sweet and slightly spicy with lots of fruity flavours, although Foodbeast has included it in one of its “Worst Shots Ever” YouTube videos. What people really get hung up on is the addition of hot sauce, but if you love spicy drinks, you’ll probably like these beautiful little tequila shooters. This drink gets its name from a watermelon-flavored Mexican hard candy that is dusted with chili powder. This candy is referred to lollipop, a Mexican-style popsicle.
Traditionally watermelon juice is used to make Mexican Candy, but you can use any fruit juice like strawberry, raspberry, or guava juice. Choose one with a pink color for an authentic look
