Notes
Where the name came from
Jager-and-Goldschlager shots travelled the same route as Jagerbombs. Pub names attached themselves to the recipe. Screaming Nazi is the most common one, although the same drink shows up under Liquid Cocaine, Iceberg and a dozen other names depending on the bar.
Whichever name shows up on the menu, the recipe is identical and the temperature is non-negotiable. Both bottles live in the freezer.
What it tastes like
Bitter herbs from the Jager, sweet cinnamon heat from the schnapps. The two flavours fight at first then settle into a hot toddy energy in shot form.
Frozen makes the drink. Room temperature it is borderline undrinkable. Ice cold and the burn drops out and the flavours come forward.
