Ingredients

  • 8 Basil Leaves
  • 45 ml Fresh Lime Juice
  • 15 ml Simple Syrup
  • 30 ml Cold Water
  • Ice
  • Garnish

Instructions

  • Muddle basil with lime juice and simple syrup.
  • Add water and ice, shake hard for 15 seconds.
  • Double-strain into a chilled coupe.
  • Garnish with a single basil leaf.

Notes

Use Italian basil (regular basil). Thai basil has an anise note that confuses the profile.
