What Makes Caramilk Eggnog Special?

The addition of Cadbury Caramilk chocolate enriches the flavor profile, making it a delightful variation that’s bound to impress your guests. The spiced rum adds a subtle kick, infusing the drink with an extra layer of warmth and complexity.

A Brief History of Eggnog

Eggnog, a drink that dates back to medieval Europe, has long been a favorite at holiday gatherings. Initially known as “posset,” it was a blend of hot milk and ale or wine. Over time, the recipe has evolved, and today, it includes eggs and various spices. The drink crossed the Atlantic to become a staple of American holiday celebrations. Our Caramilk Eggnog is a contemporary nod to this rich history, blending age-old traditions with modern flair.

How to Serve Your Caramilk Eggnog

This luxurious eggnog can be served in a variety of ways. Go traditional with heatproof glasses or get festive with glass moose mugs à la “Christmas Vacation.” To add some pizzazz, set up a cocktail station with crushed candy canes, whipped cream, and chocolate shavings for garnish. Your guests will have a blast customizing their own drinks!

Tips and Variations

  • Simple Syrup: If you want to get extra fancy, you can rim the glasses with crushed candy canes using a dab of simple syrup as adhesive.

  • Mocktail Version: If you’re looking for a non-alcoholic version, replace the spiced rum with apple cider or a cinnamon-infused simple syrup.

  • Frozen Eggnog: Want to turn it into a slushy delight? Blend the eggnog mixture with crushed ice and serve it as a frozen treat.

  • Eggnog for a Crowd: This recipe can easily be doubled or tripled to accommodate larger gatherings. Just maintain the ratio of ingredients, and you’re good to go!

Whether you’re an eggnog aficionado or a newcomer to this holiday staple, Caramilk Eggnog offers a delightful twist that’s too good to pass up. So this season, why settle for ordinary when you can indulge in extraordinary? Cheers to a festive and delicious holiday!

  • 4 Egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Spiced Rum
