Taylor Swift is currently in the middle of an ongoing trial with a DJ who allegedly groped her at a meet and greet back in 2013.
The trial has been ongoing for quite some time.
When it was first brought to the public’s attention, the Colorado DJ, named, David Mueller, sued Taylor for slander as he believed her claims led to him losing his job in the industry.
Now, PEOPLE has confirmed via court documents, that Mueller’s case has been officially dismissed by the court judge.
While there is still a long way to go with the court battle, as the sexual assault charge trial date has been set for early August, this is a good sign for Taylor to win the case.
Taylor has stated that if she wins the lawsuit she will donate all proceeds to “charitable organisations dedicated to protecting women from similar acts of sexual assault and personal disregard.”
We hope that Taylor is going okay and she gets some closure soon.
